ERGO Technology & Services India (ET&S India) is the newest part of the ERGO Technology & Services Management the main outsourcing provider of IT for ERGO worldwide. Key Competencies & Skills required Technical:

• Candidate should have years of SAP ABAP development experience within the mentioned SAP modules (FI-GL, FI-AP/AR, FI-AA and CO) with SAP S/4 HANA Brownfield expertise.
• Customizing of the Global-Template modules FI-GL (General Ledger); FI-AP/AR (Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable); FI-AA (Asset Accounting) and CO (Controlling) to provide the required functionality
• Maintenance of interface tables incl. mapping tables
• Support of service requests on a daily base (MTB - maintain the business)
• Support of minor change requests (STB - support the business)
• Participation in projects of various sizes (TTB transform the business, e.g. rollouts)
• Incident management; analyse error situations and resolve them
• Manage the transport system (approval of transports, deployment of changes into the productive environment)
• Dispatching of incoming requests via email or BMC Remedy ticket tool
• Information management (e.g. announcements of system availabilities)
• Support of quarterly close activities (e.g. maintenance of foreign currency customizing, preparation of tax reporting ) as well as yearend closing activities (e.g. fiscal year change, balance carry forward)
• Perform test activities within stack upgrades, ERGO Releases and projects
• Be available for user requests from Monday to Friday in a scheme using a phase-approach driven by the quarterly closings. The scheme is as follows:
• Participation at regular conference calls (specially SAP support conference call)

Technical:

• Technologies: SAP FI including FI-GL, AP/AR, FI-AA and CO
• Excel Knowledge
• Very good knowledge in written and spoken English
• Quick starter to troubleshoot/resolve incidents and business support items
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to multi-task effectively

• Testing experience

Previous Experience & Qualifications

Education/Qualification:

• A degree in Business Administration, Business Information Systems or IT Consulting or equivalent or a related discipline; or equivalent work experience

Knowledge & Experience:

• 4+ years of ABAP development experience within the mentioned SAP modules (FI-GL, FI- AP/AR, FI-AA and CO) with SAP S/4 HANA Brownfield expertise.
• Significant experience within the ITIL processes Service Request Management, Change and Release Management and Incident Management
• Experience of working within multi-location teams.
