Job Description
Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented
Fund Accountant
to support our digital asset funds. This role is responsible for the
end-to-end accounting, NAV calculation, and reporting
for funds investing in cryptocurrencies, tokens, and other blockchain-based assets. The candidate will work closely with portfolio managers, operations, auditors, and service providers to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with SFC regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• NAV Calculation & Reporting:

• Perform daily, weekly, or monthly NAV calculations for digital asset funds.

• Price crypto assets using exchange and custodian data, including spot, derivatives, and tokenized assets.

• Fee & Expense Management:

• Calculate and accrue management fees, performance fees, and other fund expenses accurately.

• Financial Statements & Audit Support:

• Assist in preparing quarterly and annual financial statements under IFRS / US GAAP.

• Coordinate with auditors and administrators during year-end audits.

• Regulatory & Investor Reporting:

• Ensure compliance with SFC guidelines for virtual asset funds.

• Prepare investor statements, capital account balances, and performance reports.

Must Have

• MBA / CA with 4–6 years of experience in fund accounting, preferably in hedge funds or private equity.
• Fund Accounting experience in cryptocurrencies, blockchain technology, and DeFi products preferred.
• Excellent Excel skills; ability to work with large datasets and reconciliations.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work under tight deadlines.

Nice-to-Have

• Familiarity with crypto exchanges, custodians (e.g., Coinbase Custody, Fireblocks), and blockchain explorers.
• Experience in a regulated fund environment (SFC Type 9 license exposure).
• CPA / CFA qualification is a plus.
