Position Overview:
As the Sales Head – Academic Counselling, you will be responsible for driving the sales strategy, managing a team of academic counselors, and overseeing the recruitment of prospective students into the institution's programs. You will be the key point of contact between prospective students , guiding them through the decision-making process, and providing them with valuable insights into our offerings. Your role will be pivotal in achieving enrollment targets while maintaining high levels of student satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy & Leadership:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive enrollment in all academic programs.
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of academic counselors to achieve individual and team targets.
- Set clear sales goals, track performance, and adjust strategies to ensure sales objectives are met.
- Identify opportunities for increasing conversion rates and improving the sales funnel.
- Academic Counseling & Consultation:
- Provide personalized consultations for prospective students, advising them on suitable programs based on their skills, career goals, and aspirations.
- Lead the team in delivering high-quality academic counseling that supports the overall mission of the school.
- Answer queries and handle objections related to the programs, admissions, fees, and other areas of interest.
- Lead Generation & Pipeline Management:
- Develop and execute lead generation strategies to source and nurture high-quality leads.
- Monitor and manage the sales pipeline, ensuring timely follow-ups with leads, and maintaining an accurate database of prospects.
- Leverage CRM tools to track leads, conversions, and performance metrics
- Performance & Reporting:
- Monitor team performance and conduct regular reviews to ensure KPIs are met and exceeded.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management, including sales forecasts, pipeline analysis, and conversion rates.
- Conduct market research to understand trends and competitors, ensuring that the school remains competitive in the education sector.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with prospective students, addressing any concerns or challenges they may face during the application process.
- Provide post-enrollment support to ensure students transition smoothly into their programs.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales, with at least 1 years in a leadership role, ideally in the education sector.
- Strong understanding of the academic counseling process and the student recruitment lifecycle.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and leading high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Proficiency in CRM software, MS Office, and data analysis tools.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.
