Position Overview:

As the Sales Head – Academic Counselling, you will be responsible for driving the sales strategy, managing a team of academic counselors, and overseeing the recruitment of prospective students into the institution's programs. You will be the key point of contact between prospective students , guiding them through the decision-making process, and providing them with valuable insights into our offerings. Your role will be pivotal in achieving enrollment targets while maintaining high levels of student satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy & Leadership:
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive enrollment in all academic programs.
  • Lead, train, and motivate a team of academic counselors to achieve individual and team targets.
  • Set clear sales goals, track performance, and adjust strategies to ensure sales objectives are met.
  • Identify opportunities for increasing conversion rates and improving the sales funnel.
  • Academic Counseling & Consultation:
  • Provide personalized consultations for prospective students, advising them on suitable programs based on their skills, career goals, and aspirations.
  • Lead the team in delivering high-quality academic counseling that supports the overall mission of the school.
  • Answer queries and handle objections related to the programs, admissions, fees, and other areas of interest.
  • Lead Generation & Pipeline Management:
  • Develop and execute lead generation strategies to source and nurture high-quality leads.
  • Monitor and manage the sales pipeline, ensuring timely follow-ups with leads, and maintaining an accurate database of prospects.
  • Leverage CRM tools to track leads, conversions, and performance metrics
  • Performance & Reporting:
  • Monitor team performance and conduct regular reviews to ensure KPIs are met and exceeded.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management, including sales forecasts, pipeline analysis, and conversion rates.
  • Conduct market research to understand trends and competitors, ensuring that the school remains competitive in the education sector.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with prospective students, addressing any concerns or challenges they may face during the application process.
  • Provide post-enrollment support to ensure students transition smoothly into their programs.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales, with at least 1 years in a leadership role, ideally in the education sector.
  • Strong understanding of the academic counseling process and the student recruitment lifecycle.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and leading high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, MS Office, and data analysis tools.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.
