Job Description:

The incumbent will be responsible for the following:

  1. Ensuring Maximum Machine Uptime, MTBF (Mean time between Failure) and minimum MTTR (Mean time to repair). - Leading and implementing the TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) in the plant - Achieving MTBF (Mean time between Failure), Machine Availability, MTTR(Mean time to repair).

  2. To ensure Spares cost within planned budget. - Monitoring spares, energy cost and resource management.

  3. Improving Energy efficiency every year by 10%. - Working on Energy/Water/Waste and reducing carbon footprint in the plant - Achieving Target of all critical machine and equipment Achieving the OEE targets

  4. Automation projects for Plant with engineering team. - Coordinating with ENE, construction, and new product introduction (NPI) team for timely and effective completion of projects. - Ensuring the Projects completion in time, with planned utilities. - Leading Digitalization to improve business efficiency.

5.Organizational Imperatives - Statutory compliance management & Developing Zero accident culture. - Institutionalizing preventive maintenance procedures, ensuring AMCs (Annual maintenance contract) & CMCs (Comprehensive maintenance contract). - Ensuring utilities (HT (High tension) /LT (low tension)/ETP (effluent treatment plant )-STP (sewage treatment plant ) /Producer Gas/MHE-s (material handling equipment )/Compressor/DG (Diesel Generator) maintenance. - Liasioning with concerned Government officials UPCL (Uttarakhand power co. Ltd)/ Factory Department) - Ensuring safety policy adherence in department and supporting other department in safety norms - Achieving Zero incident.
