About the Role:

We are seeking experienced Oracle FLEXCUBE Core Banking consultants to join our team of core

banking experts. Candidates will work across both technical and functional streams to ensure

seamless deployment, integration, and architecture of Oracle FLEXCUBE and its modules, including

Retail Banking, Universal Banking Base (UBS), Trade Finance, Corporate Lending, and Payments.

The role spans end-to-end activities from requirement gathering and process design to post-go-live

support, ensuring operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and an enhanced user experience.

Technical Responsibilities

As an Oracle FLEXCUBE Core Banking consultant, the candidate will provide expert guidance and

strategic oversight on the configuration, customization, and architecture of FLEXCUBE modules,

ensuring alignment with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and long-term technology

strategy. They will assess the current-state architecture, identify gaps, and define the future-state

architecture to optimize processes, integrations, and overall system performance. The consultant

will lead the design and management of integrations with internal and external systems using APIs,

web services, and middleware, while monitoring and optimizing system performance to ensure high

availability, scalability, and reliability. The role includes overseeing version upgrades, patches, and

module migrations, collaborating closely with DBAs, infrastructure, and cloud teams to define

robust environments, deployment strategies, and security standards. Additionally, the SME will

assist in data migration, mapping legacy data to FLEXCUBE structures, and validating accuracy. They

will support project planning, coordination, and technical delivery reporting, manage testing

infrastructure including automated testing and defect tracking, and implement automation and

optimized workflows to enhance operational efficiency.

Finally, they will ensure that the system adheres to compliance, audit, and regulatory

requirements, maintaining proper documentation of configurations and system logs, , lead post-go-

live support, incident management, root cause analysis, and the implementation of automation,

batch processing, and advanced reporting workflows to enhance operational efficiency while acting

as a trusted advisor to business and IT teams on best practices, continuous improvement, and

innovative solutions.

Functional Responsibilities

As an Oracle FLEXCUBE consultant, the candidate will work closely with business stakeholders to

gather, analyze, and document detailed requirements across banking domains, including retail,

deposits, loans, payments, treasury, and corporate banking. They will assess the current-state (As-Is)

processes, identify gaps, and define the future-state (To-Be) processes to optimize workflows and

ensure alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements. The consultant will

collaborate with business users to define product features, user journeys, and workflows, and

provide functional guidance on integrations with digital channels, payment networks, and third-

party systems. They will develop and execute System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance

Testing (UAT) scripts, provide training, user manuals, and documentation, and support change

management activities to ensure smooth adoption of new processes.

Additionally, the consultant will advise on functional technology strategy, helping to align process

design and system capabilities with broader enterprise technology objectives , support project

planning, milestone tracking, and stakeholder reporting, provide business reporting and KPI

dashboards to monitor process efficiency, and maintain audit-ready documentation for regulatory

and internal compliance. Acting as a trusted advisor, they will guide business teams on best

practices, continuous improvement, and innovative solutions to maximize the value of the FLEXCUBE

platform.

Qualifications & Skills

 Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or related

fields.

 10–15 years of experience in financial services, with 7–10 years with Oracle FLEXCUBE.

 Certifications: Oracle FLEXCUBE modules (Reatil Banking, UBS, Trade, Payments) preferred.

 Technical expertise: Oracle PL/SQL, Java, SQL, middleware, APIs, web services, job

scheduling, system integration, performance tuning, automation, and workflow

optimization.

 Strong functional expertise across retail, deposits, loans, payments, trade finance, and

treasury, translating business needs into effective system processes.

 Proven experience in end-to-end core banking architecture design and optimization, with

the ability to drive technology strategy..

 Familiar with Agile and Waterfall methodologies, applying the right approach for project

success.

 Skilled in analysis, problem-solving, and stakeholder management, enabling practical

solutions and effective collaboration.

Preferred / Nice to Have

 Oracle FLEXCUBE module-specific certifications.

 Exposure to cloud deployment (AWS, Azure) or DevOps/CI-CD pipelines.

 Experience with digital banking channels, fintech integrations, and process automation.

 Knowledge of global banking regulations (AML, KYC, Basel, IFRS).
