About the Role

Ekhaya Brands is looking for a motivated Accountant (0–1 year experience) to join our accounts team. The role involves day-to-day accounting operations, invoice preparation, compliance data, and coordination with our CA. This is a great opportunity for a fresher or early-career professional to gain hands-on exposure in accounting for a fast-growing consumer brand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare invoices and e-invoices for outgoing material.
  • Maintain ledgers and reconcile accounts of suppliers and clients.
  • Track costing of incoming material and maintain accurate records.
  • Generate e-way bills and maintain compliance records.
  • Prepare employee salary statements.
  • Compile monthly TDS data for submission.
  • Reconcile company bank accounts with books of accounts.
  • Manage petty cash and office/warehouse expense records.
  • Check receivables from online marketplaces and ensure settlement accuracy.
  • Coordinate with CA to ensure GST filing and statutory compliance data is ready on time.
  • Maintain organized records for audit and compliance.
  • Prepare basic MIS reports (payables, receivables, expenses, cashflow summaries).

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce/Accounting/Finance.
  • 0–1 year of experience in accounting (freshers are welcome).
  • Proficiency in Tally ERP / accounting software; knowledge of Zoho Books will be a strong plus.
  • Basic knowledge of GST and TDS.
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
  • Good Excel skills and comfort with digital accounting workflows.
