Key Responsibilities:

  • Bookkeeping: Maintain daily records of financial transactions, including cash books, ledgers, sales, purchases, and journal entries.
  • Voucher & Payment Processing: Prepare and process vouchers, checks, and challans, checking bills and ensuring timely payments.
  • Reconciliations: Prepare bank, debtors, and creditors reconciliations.
  • Financial Statements: Assist in preparing financial statements, reports, and utilization certificates.
  • Tax Compliance: Calculate and file VAT, CST, TDS,GST and service tax returns.
  • Auditing: Assist in internal and statutory audits.
  • MIS & Reporting: Prepare management information system reports.
  • Fixed Asset Management: Maintain fixed asset registers and calculate depreciation.
  • Salary & Benefits: Assist in preparing salary sheets and employee benefits.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to accounting standards and regulations.
  • Data Accuracy: Maintain the accuracy and completeness of accounting data.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial information to identify discrepancies.
  • Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage cash flow.
  • Budgeting: Assist in budget preparation and monitoring.
  • Month-End & Year-End Closures: Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Tax Return Preparation: Support the preparation of tax returns.
  • Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by the Accounts Manager.
