Key Responsibilities:
- Bookkeeping: Maintain daily records of financial transactions, including cash books, ledgers, sales, purchases, and journal entries.
- Voucher & Payment Processing: Prepare and process vouchers, checks, and challans, checking bills and ensuring timely payments.
- Reconciliations: Prepare bank, debtors, and creditors reconciliations.
- Financial Statements: Assist in preparing financial statements, reports, and utilization certificates.
- Tax Compliance: Calculate and file VAT, CST, TDS,GST and service tax returns.
- Auditing: Assist in internal and statutory audits.
- MIS & Reporting: Prepare management information system reports.
- Fixed Asset Management: Maintain fixed asset registers and calculate depreciation.
- Salary & Benefits: Assist in preparing salary sheets and employee benefits.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to accounting standards and regulations.
- Data Accuracy: Maintain the accuracy and completeness of accounting data.
- Financial Analysis: Analyze financial information to identify discrepancies.
- Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage cash flow.
- Budgeting: Assist in budget preparation and monitoring.
- Month-End & Year-End Closures: Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Tax Return Preparation: Support the preparation of tax returns.
- Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by the Accounts Manager.
