Accounting Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking an Accounting Manager (2–5 years of experience) with proven expertise in GST & Taxation. The role requires hands-on experience in GST filing, returns, input tax credit reconciliation, TDS compliance, income tax, and overall statutory obligations. Along with taxation, you will also manage financial reporting and accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end GST compliance: registration, filing monthly/quarterly returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, etc.), reconciliation, and responding to notices.
  • Oversee Taxation: direct tax (Income Tax, TDS, Advance Tax) and indirect tax compliance.
  • Handle tax audits, assessments, and statutory audits with auditors/consultants.
  • Ensure timely submission of returns and accurate maintenance of tax records.
  • Stay updated with changes in GST law, tax rules, and accounting standards.
  • Prepare financial statements, MIS reports, and maintain accuracy in accounts.
  • Supervise accounting team in reconciliations, payables/receivables, and reporting.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's/Master's in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 2–5 years of relevant experience with strong focus on GST & Taxation.
  • Proficiency in Tally/ERP, MS Excel, and accounting software.
  • Knowledge of statutory compliance, tax filings, and audit requirements.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and good communication.
