OVERVIEWAn opportunity for an engineer with managerial skill, in the Design & Development of Gas Cylinder Valves exported to 65 countries, with the scope of becoming a technical expert. EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor in Mechanical EngineeringCOMPETENCY

  • Minimum 5 years working experience in mechanical design & development
  • Managing activities related to the functioning of the Design & Development department
  • Ensuring compliance of ISO 9001 requirements applicable to Design & Development
  • Proficient in working with both AutoCAD & Solidworks
  • Proficient in working with MS Word & MS PowerPoint for creating technical product's marketing literature etc
  • Smart to use computer apps like MS Excel in day-to-day activities for efficient working
  • Proficient in communicating in English (both written & verbal)
  • Preference will be given to a person having knowledge of technical standardsRESPONSIBILITIES
  • Direct responsibilities include
  • Managing Draughtsman for their optimum performance
  • Creating, checking & handling the drawings and technical documents/datasheets
  • Ensuring compliance with applicable ISO 9001 requirements
  • Handling & reviewing applicable national/international standards
  • Controlling and maintaining the marketing materials consisting of technical information about the products e.g. Product Catalogues, Website information, etc
  • Other administrative activities of the Design & Development department including inter-department coordination
  • Ultimate/Overall responsibility is to assist HOD-Design & Development in the efficient functioning of the Design & Development which includes
  • New product development
  • Continual improvement in processes and review of effectiveness of implemented processes.
