We are looking for a skilled and motivated Data Engineer to manage data pipelines and drive data architecture projects to support our reporting, integration, and analytics needs. The ideal candidate will have a background in engineering and be able to efficiently execute data-centric projects across a dynamic group of stakeholders. This role involves extracting, loading, and transforming (ELT) data from various sources, implementing best practices for data architecture, and partnering closely with a cross-functional team to execute deliverables. 

• Design, implement, and maintain data pipelines that handle both batch and real-time data ingestion. 
• Integrate various data sources (databases, APIs, third-party data) into Snowflake and other data systems. 
• Work closely with data scientists and analysts to ensure data availability, quality, and performance. 
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data pipeline performance, scalability, and integrity. 
• Optimize data processes for speed, scalability, and cost efficiency. 
• Ensure data governance and security best practices are implemented

• 1 to 1.5 years of hands-on experience in data engineering or related roles.
• Exposure to tools and platforms such as Snowflake, DBT, Kafka, or Debezium (academic or project experience is acceptable).
• Working knowledge of SQL, Python, and familiarity with ETL frameworks.
• Understanding data warehousing concepts, basic data modeling, and data pipeline development.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail.
• Interest or prior exposure to the financial services or fintech domain is a plus.

• Bachelor's degree in information systems/technology, Computer Science, a related field in technical    engineering, or equivalent experience 
• Fluent in both spoken and written English
