Software Test Associate

Position Overview

As a Software Test Associate, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. Working closely with our development team, you will be responsible for designing and executing test plans, identifying and documenting software defects, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our testing processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and execute test cases to verify software functionality, performance, and reliability.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools.
  • Collaborate with developers to reproduce, troubleshoot, and resolve software issues.
  • Perform regression testing to ensure that software changes do not adversely affect existing functionality.
  • Participate in the review and analysis of software requirements and specifications.
  • Contribute to the improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in software testing.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Previous experience (around 2 years) in software testing or quality assurance is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to identify and communicate software defects effectively.
  • Familiarity with testing methodologies, tools, and techniques is a plus.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Self-motivated with a desire to learn and grow in the field of software testing
