Description: Key responsibilities:

Financial Reporting & Analysis: Preparing, examining, and analyzing financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards such as GAAP/ IND AS/IFRS.

Financial Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with overall business objectives and long-term goals. Advise the CEO/MD and other executives on financial implications of business plans and current events.

Tax Services: Preparing tax returns (corporate, partnership, and trust), managing tax planning, and advising on tax codes and regulations.

Auditing and Assurance: Conducting audits to verify financial records, ensure compliance with laws and regulations, and provide assurance on the accuracy of financial reporting.

Financial Reporting & Analysis: Oversee the preparation and presentation of accurate financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements for internal and external stakeholders, including the board of directors, investors, and regulatory bodies. Analyze financial data and market trends to provide insights into company performance and identify opportunities for improvement or cost reduction.

Budgeting & Forecasting: Coordinate the development of annual operating, capital, and program budgets and track performance against them. Develop and manage budgets and create accurate financial projections based on past performance, and internal and external factors.

Cash Flow & Capital Management: Ensure efficient management of the company's cash flow, working capital, and investments. Oversee the capital structure and ensure optimal financing options are in place.

Consulting and Advisory Services: Offering financial consulting, strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting services to help organizations make informed financial decisions.

Compliance: Ensuring adherence to all relevant financial regulations, tax laws, and reporting requirements.

Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks, including those related to market volatility, cybersecurity, and regulatory compliance. Develop and implement strategies to manage these risks and ensure the company's financial well-being.

Forensic Accounting: Investigating financial discrepancies, fraud, and other financial crimes.

Stakeholder Relations: Play a key role in managing relationships with investors, analysts, and other financial stakeholders. Communicate the company's financial performance and strategy to the investment community.

Team Leadership & Development (for senior roles): Leading and mentoring accounting teams, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Qualifications and skills:

Education: A bachelor's or master's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. CA or CPA is must.

Experience: 5-7 years of experience in accounting, tax auditing, or financial analysis is preferred.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, SAP), advanced Excel skills, and knowledge of financial modeling and tax preparation software.

Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, communication (written and verbal), attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.

Knowledge: Expertise in accounting principles (GAAP, IFRS), tax laws, financial reporting standards, and regulatory compliance
