Education Counsellor – Cognition Technology

Cognition Technology is a leading Training Institute & Software Company based in Chinchwad, Pune. We provide industry-focused training in Data Science, AI, Full Stack Development, Software Testing, Cloud, and Job-Oriented IT Programs with strong placement support.

Role: Education Counsellor Key Responsibilities

  • Handle student inquiries via calls, walk-ins, WhatsApp, emails, and provide accurate course information.
  • Counsel students about career paths, course details, fees, job opportunities, and help them choose the right program.
  • Follow up with leads generated through online ads, campaigns, referrals, seminars, and social media.
  • Maintain daily records of inquiries, follow-ups, conversions, and admissions.
  • Achieve monthly admission targets and revenue goals.
  • Guide students through the entire admission process, including documentation and payment formalities.
  • Coordinate with the training and placement teams regarding batch schedules, student progress, and placement requirements.
  • Participate in marketing activities, seminars, workshops, college visits, and events.
  • Ensure high-quality student experience and maintain positive relationships.
  • Manage CRM tools for lead tracking and reporting.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Graduate (Any field); MBA/Marketing added advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills (English, Hindi, Marathi).
  • Strong sales & persuasion skills.
  • Ability to understand student needs and recommend suitable career paths.
  • Basic knowledge of IT career trends (training will be provided).
  • Good computer skills: MS Office, CRM, WhatsApp Business, etc.
  • Ability to work in a target-driven environment.

Experience

  • 0–3 years of experience in counselling, sales, customer handling, or EdTech.
  • Freshers with good communication skills are welcome.

Salary

Competitive salary + incentives based on admissions.
