About the Role – Accountant

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible
Accountant
to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate will manage
all internal financial processes
, maintain accurate records, and ensure
timely compliance and reporting
.

This role is perfect for someone who is hands-on with accounting operations and eager to contribute to a growing startup's financial backbone.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage
    day-to-day accounting operations
    including journal entries, invoices, receipts, and vendor payments.
  • Prepare and maintain
    Books of Accounts
    in compliance with accounting standards.
  • Handle
    Bank Reconciliation, TDS, GST filings
    , and vendor reconciliations.
  • Maintain
    petty cash
    and ensure accurate expense recording.
  • Support in
    monthly closing, P&L statements, and balance sheet preparation.
  • Coordinate with external
    CA and auditors
    for financial reporting and statutory filings.
  • Monitor company
    cash flow, budgets, and financial forecasting.
  • Ensure
    timely payments and proper documentation
    for all financial transactions.
  • Maintain confidentiality of financial information and ensure data accuracy.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in
    Commerce / Accounting / Finance.
  • 2–5 years
    of experience in accounting or finance (preferably in a startup or SME).
  • Proficiency in
    Tally ERP, Zoho Books, QuickBooks
    , or other accounting software.
  • Working knowledge of
    GST, TDS, and basic taxation.
  • Strong command over
    MS Excel and financial reporting.(Mandatory)
  • Attention to detail, time management, and strong analytical mindset.

Good to Have

  • Experience working in a
    media, advertising, or startup environment.
  • Familiarity with
    financial projections and budget management.
  • Ability to coordinate with multiple departments and ensure smooth operations.
