Job Description

ServiceNow ATF tester

JD ATF- ServiceNow Tester to ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of ServiceNow implementations. The ideal candidate will have experience in functional, regression, and automated testing within the ServiceNow platform, a strong understanding of ITSM processes, and the ability to collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for ServiceNow modules and custom applications.
  • Perform functional, regression, system integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) on ServiceNow solutions.
  • Validate workflows, business rules, client scripts, integrations, and configurations.
  • Ensure ServiceNow solutions meet functional, performance, and security requirements.
  • Work closely with developers, product owners, and business analysts to identify and resolve defects.
  • Track, manage, and report defects/issues using standard defect management tools.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Test ServiceNow upgrades and patches, ensuring existing functionality is not impacted.
  • Contribute to test automation efforts using appropriate ServiceNow and third-party tools.
  • Provide documentation and knowledge transfer related to test processes and results.

Required Qualifications:

  • 2–4 years of experience in software testing, with at least 1–2 years in ServiceNow testing.
  • Hands-on experience testing ServiceNow ITSM processes (incident, problem, change, request).
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow modules such as ITOM, HRSD, or CSM (preferred).
  • Experience in manual and automated testing practices.
  • Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and defect management processes.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, ATF – Automated Test Framework in ServiceNow).
  • Exposure to ServiceNow ATF (Automated Test Framework) for regression testing.
  • Understanding of ITIL processes and best practices.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • ServiceNow CSA certification (a plus).
