Position Summary:

The Assistant Manager for Market Data Analysis will play a crucial role in supporting the Semiconductor Procurement team by providing insightful market data analysis. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of the semiconductor market, and the ability to transform data into actionable strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze market data to support semiconductor procurement strategies, including supply and demand trends, pricing, and technology advancements.
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential risks and opportunities in the semiconductor supply chain.
  • Develop and maintain market intelligence reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior management.
  • Collaborate with procurement and engineering teams to understand and anticipate semiconductor requirements.
  • Monitor geopolitical and economic factors that could impact semiconductor supply and pricing.
  • Assist in supplier selection and evaluation by providing data-driven insights.
  • Support contract negotiations by providing market data analysis and cost modeling.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and support value engineering projects.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of procurement strategies.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in market data analysis, preferably within the semiconductor or electronics industry.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Knowledge of the semiconductor market, including supply chain dynamics, pricing trends, and key suppliers.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently as needed.
