Company:Qualcomm India Private LimitedJob Area:Engineering Group, Engineering Group > Software Test EngineeringGeneral Summary:Position: EngineerJob Area: Software Test EngineeringKey Responsibilities:Develop detailed test plans for embedded systems Products and its usecases.Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts.Execute manual and automated test cases and analyze results.Identify, record, and track bugs and issues.Collaborate with development team, customer engineering teams to resolve issues and improve product quality.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in CSE/ECE or related field.Proven experience in embedded software testing, 2+ years of experience from Embedded domain CoreBSP Development/Testing.Strong knowledge of programming languages such as C/C++ and scripting languages like Python.Familiarity with embedded systems, microcontrollers, and hardware interfaces.Experience with test automation tools and frameworks.Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.Experience with Software Test or System Test, developing and automating test plans and/or tools (e.g., Source Code Control Systems, Continuous Integration Tools, and Bug Tracking Tools).Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS).Knowledge in one or more of communication protocols ( CAN, SPI, I2C, etc.) ,USB , Storage ( SD/eMMC/UFS), PCIe etc.Familiarity with version control systems like Git, perforce etc.Good to have familiarity and/or experience with AI/ML Tools, AI Models, and AI applications development.Applicants: Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer.
