Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Lathe Operator to join our production team. The candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining lathe machines to produce precision parts according to technical drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate lathe machines (manual or CNC as required).
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and job orders.
• Perform turning, facing, threading, boring, and drilling operations.
• Measure and inspect finished components using calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Ensure accuracy, quality, and proper finish of machined parts.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work area in proper condition.
• Follow safety standards and company guidelines during operations.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and report any faults.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Lathe Operator or Machinist.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
• Knowledge of measuring instruments (vernier, micrometer, gauges).
• Basic knowledge of machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Good attention to detail and quality standards.
• Physical stamina to work with machinery and heavy parts.

Qualification:

• ITI / Diploma in Machinist / Fitter / Mechanical or relevant field.
• Minimum [1] years of experience in lathe operations.

Salary: 15000 to 20000k _+ PF + ESIC
