Job Description

Purpose

Solution Designer will be driving and continuously collaborating with Delivery Teams and business stakeholders to deliver the right Business value early.

Candidate will also ensure effective operations for SFDC platform and allied systems, with a full view of the business needs and requirements working closely with the IT Delivery Teams, as well as Service and Architecture Teams.

Accountabilities

• Transform business requirements into workable user stories with detailed functional and technical solution design.
• Bridge between the business stakeholders and the development team.
• Provide technical development and support for IT Delivery Team initiatives.

Business Dimension

• Handle all the interactions with the business to understand specific requirements.
• Translation of the requirements into SFDC parlance.
• Be able to break down a customer's business process in its component parts, understanding where are the pain points.
• Understand the key business pain points and solve those through innovative digital solutions.
• Also has the ability to respond to detail queries by the customer

Development Dimension

• Focus on strategic, tactical and technical initiatives involving
• Expertise in SFDC basics and configurations to design solutions.
• Expertise in LWC, Agentforce and Data cloud
• Develop and deploy customizations, new functionality based on business needs.
• Proactively identify and implement operational and technical improvements and enhancements that drive sales productivity and improve customer experience.
• Eager to learn other tools in eco system apart from salesforce.

Geographic Scope: Regional and Territory

Complexity: Complex. Requires high degree of functional capability in the SFDC Platform and an equivalent level of expertise in technical capabilities. Also strong stakeholder collaboration both inside and outside Syngenta, especially with Suppliers/Vendors to drive effective development and operations

Experience / Previous jobs required for the job

• 9+ years IT experience.
• 7+ years' experience in SFDC technology as a solution designer/ developer.
• Expert in programming tools and knowledge of application technologies for Commercial Platforms
• Familiarity with Data Migration Tools and integration platforms like PI PO, Informatica will be an added advantage.
• Familiarity with SDLC methodologies
• Technical expertise in DevOps and system engineering tools
• Strong knowledge of release and test management processes
• Technical abilities to apply change, monitor, real time application dashboard displays
• Awareness of developments in the IT and IS marketplace and understands their relevance to Syngenta
• Record of platform innovation and challenging the norm

Qualifications

Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
