Geoserve is seeking a
Junior IT Engineer(3-5 Years)
to support and maintain our IT infrastructure, assist in implementing cybersecurity measures, and contribute to strategic IT initiatives. This role is ideal for someone eager to learn, grow, and make an impact in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

IT Infrastructure Support

  • Assist in managing and maintaining the company's IT infrastructure.
  • Help track and manage IT assets.
  • Ensure systems run smoothly with high availability and performance.
  • Support email, communication, and collaboration tools.

Security and Compliance

  • Contribute to implementing cybersecurity measures to safeguard company data.
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with maritime industry regulations and IT standards.
  • Support efforts toward ISO 27001 and SOC 2 certification requirements.

Team Collaboration and Helpdesk

  • Provide first-level technical support to internal teams.
  • Help manage and resolve helpdesk tickets promptly.

Innovation and Learning

  • Stay informed about emerging IT trends and technologies.
  • Participate in developing and executing IT strategies aligned with business goals.

What We're Looking For

  • Basic knowledge of IT infrastructure and networking.
  • Experience Range -3-5 Years
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and compliance standards.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Qualifications

Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.

Knowledge & Expertise

Experience: 3+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management. Hands on with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).

Technical Expertise:

Strong knowledge of networking, virtualization, and server management.

Experience with IT security frameworks and compliance standards.
