Civil Engineer

Job Title: Civil Engineer Location: Gurgaon Salary: ₹40,000 – ₹60,000 per month (Up to ₹70,000 for exceptional candidates) About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Civil Engineer to join our team in Gurgaon. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing site activities, ensuring quality execution, coordinating with contractors and vendors, and maintaining all engineering and construction standards. This role is ideal for someone who can independently handle site responsibilities and maintain high professional standards. Key Responsibilities: Project Execution & Site Supervision: - Oversee daily site operations and ensure timely completion of project tasks. - Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with design, specifications, and quality standards. - Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and labor teams. - Conduct regular site inspections and prepare progress reports. Planning & Documentation: - Review technical drawings, BOQs, and project plans before execution. - Maintain daily progress reports, site documentation, and material logs. - Ensure proper documentation related to materials, equipment, and labor. Quality Control & Safety Compliance: - Ensure construction quality meets engineering standards. - Perform regular quality checks for materials and workmanship. - Enforce safety rules and ensure compliance at the site. - Identify and resolve design or execution-related issues. Vendor & Client Coordination: - Coordinate with vendors for the timely supply of materials. - Assist in preparing cost estimates, material consumption reports, and project timelines. - Communicate with clients, consultants, and internal teams for updates and approvals. Technical Support & Problem Solving: - Provide on-site technical support and resolve engineering challenges. - Suggest improvements to enhance project efficiency. - Ensure optimal utilization of resources and materials. Qualifications & Education Requirements: - B.E/B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution. - Diploma in Civil Engineering may be considered with strong practical experience. Experience Requirements: - Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience in site engineering, construction supervision, or project execution. - Practical experience in structural work, finishing, and site management is required. Skills & Competencies: - Strong understanding of construction methods, engineering principles, and material management. - Ability to read and interpret drawings, structural plans, and BOQs. - Good project management, coordination, and communication skills. - Knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Excel, and related engineering software is an advantage. - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently. Salary & Compensation: - ₹40,000 – ₹60,000 per month. - Up to ₹70,000 for candidates with exceptional skills and proven execution capabilities.
