2) Position : Production Planning & Procurement Engineer 3) Experience Required : 5+ years

4) Salary Negotiable : Salary - Rs PM to 45000 PM Depending upon candidates knowledge

5) Job Location : Ahmedabad

6) Job Description :

  1. Develops production schedule.
  2. Optimizes resource allocation and coordinates material purchasing from suppliers to ensure efficient and timely manufacturing of products.
  3. Create and implement detailed production schedules, monitor workflows, and identify bottlenecks to optimize efficiency.
  4. Analyze sales forecasts and demand to anticipate production needs and adjust schedules accordingly.
  5. Manage resource allocation, including labor, equipment and materials to ensure optimal utilization.
  6. Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers for materials and components.
  7. Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality.
  8. Develop and maintain procurement schedules to ensure materials are available when needed for production.
  9. Collaborate with various departments, including design, quality control, and logistics, to ensure smooth operations.
  10. Communicate effectively with suppliers to resolve issues, monitor performance, and foster strong relationships.
  11. Monitor production costs and ensure processes stay within budget.
  12. Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement cost-saving measures.
  13. Ensure products meet quality standards and comply with industry regulations.
  14. Proficiency in production planning software, enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, and data analysis tools.
  15. Strong ability to analyze data, forecasts, and production metrics to make informed decisions.
  16. Ability to identify issues, troubleshoot production disruptions, and implement effective solutions.
  17. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with internal teams and external suppliers.
  18. Experience in managing complex projects, scheduling, and resource allocation.
