The Role

We are seeking a charismatic and highly-skilled
Guest Lecturer & IELTS Expert
to be the academic "face" of AbroadOn. This is not a typical teaching role. You are a professional public speaker and a motivator. Your primary responsibility will be to travel to colleges, universities, and coaching centers—as well as host online webinars—to deliver powerful, engaging, and informative seminars about acing the IELTS exam and navigating the study-abroad journey.

Your goal is to inspire students, build the AbroadOn brand, and provide immense value through your expertise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver High-Impact Seminars:
    Design and present dynamic, large-scale workshops and guest lectures on IELTS preparation, study-abroad strategies, and effective communication.
  • Travel Extensively:
    Act as our "Academic Evangelist," traveling to various cities and educational institutions to conduct in-person events.
  • Command the Virtual Stage:
    Host engaging and professional online webinars for a wide-reaching audience, managing Q&A sessions effectively.
  • Represent the Brand:
    Serve as a professional, articulate, and inspiring representative of AbroadOn at all events.
  • Content Collaboration:
    Work with the AbroadOn marketing team to refine presentation materials and provide feedback from student interactions.
  • Engage & Motivate:
    Go beyond the test material to build confidence, answer tough questions, and motivate students to pursue their international education goals.

Who You Are (Must-Have Qualifications)

  • A Professional Public Speaker:
    You have proven, demonstrable experience engaging large audiences people). You are not just a teacher; you are a performer. A portfolio or video clips of past speaking engagements is highly required.
  • Impeccable English Proficiency:
    You possess an exceptional, near-native command of the English language (both written and verbal) with clear, articulate, and engaging pronunciation and tone.
  • IELTS Subject Matter Expert:
    You have a deep, expert-level understanding of the entire IELTS exam (Academic and General), including scoring, question types, and common student challenges.
  • Absolute Flexibility:
    You have the willingness and ability to travel frequently on short notice for offline events. You are equally comfortable managing a flexible schedule for online webinars across different time zones.
  • Tech-Savvy Presenter:
    You are fully proficient with presentation software (PowerPoint, Google Slides) and online webinar platforms (Zoom, Google Meet, etc.).
  • Charismatic & Confident:
    You have a natural ability to connect with a student audience, hold their attention, and project confidence and authority.

Bonus Points (Nice-to-Have)

  • Official certification from the British Council, IDP, or Cambridge (e.g., CELTA, TESOL).
  • A personal brand or following (e.g., a YouTube channel, popular blog, or active LinkedIn presence) related to English-language teaching or study-abroad.
  • Prior experience in a similar "evangelist" or high-visibility training role.
