Job Title: Manager - Learning & Development

Department: Human Resources

Location: Rayagada, Odisha

Purpose :

To design, implement, and sustain learning and talent management frameworks that strengthen organizational capability, leadership pipeline, and performance culture across the manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Learning & Development

  • Lead Training Need Identification (TNI) and Competency Mapping exercises across functions.
  • Design and deliver structured learning programs aligned with business and functional goals.
  • Develop internal trainers and build a sustainable in-house learning ecosystem.
  • Drive learning effectiveness through evaluation frameworks and feedback analysis.

  • Manage training budgets, vendors, and infrastructure for optimal resource utilization.

  • Implement Talent Review Processes including the 9-Box Grid for performance and potential assessment.

  • Drive Succession Planning for critical and leadership roles.
  • Design and execute Career Pathing, Leadership Development, and Hi-Potential Programs.
  • Partner with HODs and leadership teams to identify and groom future-ready talent.
  • Maintain talent dashboards, reports, and MIS for decision-making.

Educational Qualification:

  • MBA / PGDM in Human Resources, Personnel Management, or an equivalent specialization from a recognized institute.

Technical & Functional Skills:

  • Training Need Analysis, Competency Mapping, Program Design & Facilitation
  • 9-Box Talent Assessment, Succession Planning, Career & Leadership Development
  • HR Systems, LMS, and MIS reporting
  • Training Effectiveness Measurement and ROI Analysis
  • Vendor and Stakeholder Management
  • L&D Budgeting and Resource Planning

Behavioral Competencies:

  • Strategic thinking with business alignment orientation
  • Strong communication, presentation, and influencing skills
  • Analytical mindset and data-driven decision-making
  • Change management and stakeholder engagement capability
  • High ownership, collaboration, and execution focus

Preferred Industry Background:
