To assist the Project Manager in planning, executing, and monitoring all electrical works at the project site, ensuring timely completion, adherence to quality standards, cost efficiency, and compliance with safety and statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning & Coordination:

  • Assist in preparing the electrical work schedule aligned with overall project timelines.
  • Coordinate with design, procurement, and execution teams for smooth project implementation.
  • Review electrical drawings and ensure execution as per approved GFC drawings and specifications.

2. Execution & Supervision:

  • Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems (HT/LT panels, transformers, DG sets, cabling, lighting, fire alarm, earthing, etc.).
  • Ensure compliance with IS codes, NBC standards, and safety regulations.
  • Monitor work progress, identify bottlenecks, and support timely resolution.

3. Vendor & Material Management:

  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors for timely supply and execution of electrical works.
  • Verify BOQs, material indents, and check quality of materials at site.
  • Support in rate analysis and verification of contractor bills.

4. Quality & Safety Assurance:

  • Ensure adherence to quality standards during execution.
  • Conduct site inspections and audits for electrical safety compliance.
  • Assist in maintaining site documentation and quality records.

5. Coordination & Reporting:

  • Liaise with consultants, architects, and internal departments for technical clarifications.
  • Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and present updates to Project Manager.
  • Support during authority inspections and handover processes.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems in residential / commercial projects.
  • Understanding of MEP coordination and integration with civil finishes.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, and MS Office.
  • Strong leadership and team coordination skills.
  • Good communication and problem-solving ability.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience: 6–10 years in electrical execution of large-scale residential or commercial real estate projects.
  • Exposure to high-rise projects and Mivan construction will be an added advantage.
