About the Role:

The SEO Executive is responsible for developing and implementing effective search engine optimization (SEO) strategies to improve the company's website rankings on major search engines. This role involves conducting keyword research, optimizing web content, monitoring analytics, and staying up to date with the latest SEO trends to increase organic traffic and maximize ROI.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute
    comprehensive SEO strategies
    to boost organic visibility and traffic.
  • Conduct
    detailed keyword research
    and competitor analysis to identify ranking opportunities.
  • Optimize website content, metadata, and internal linking for
    on-page SEO
    excellence.
  • Plan and implement
    off-page SEO
    and link-building campaigns (guest posts, outreach, PR links).
  • Perform
    technical SEO audits
    and collaborate with developers to resolve site issues (indexing, page speed, mobile optimization, etc.).
  • Track and analyze website performance using
    Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog
    .
  • Prepare and present
    monthly SEO performance reports
    with actionable insights.
  • Stay up to date with
    Google algorithm updates
    and implement best practices proactively.
  • Coordinate with the
    content and social media teams
    to align content strategy with SEO goals.
  • Optimize for
    local SEO
    (Google My Business, NAP consistency, local citations) to increase Mumbai-specific visibility.

Preferred Qualities:

  • Experience working with
    e-commerce or D2C brands

    or performance marketing.
  • Understanding of
    AI-driven SEO tools

    schema markup
    .
