Position:
Taxation Lead

We are looking for a skilled tax lead to our finance department, to ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations and contribute to maintaining financial accuracy at our organization.

Location:
Sarjapur Road, Bangalore

Roles and responsibilities:

Timely and accurate filing of income tax returns of all group entities.

Preparing and filing of monthly and quarterly returns such as TDS returns – 26Q and 27Q, GST returns – GSTR1, GSTR3B, GSTR 9.

Regular and on time payment of TDS, GST, PT and equalization levy.

Preparation of Form 3CD, 10B/10BB and relevant schedules for tax audit.

Coordinate and manage tax audits, inquiries and notices from tax authorities.

Respond to IT and GST notices and also appear for hearings where required.

  1. Maintain documentation and records related to tax filings, provisions and other tax-related activities.

Generation of TDS certificates (16A).

Updating information related to LTDC TDS deductions, tracking the utilization and communicating the information to the accounts payable team.

Preparing monthly and quarterly compliance tracker/MIS.

Tracking due dates for renewals of 12AA and FCRA registration of entities and ensuring timely renewals of all registrations.

Assigning TDS rate to vendor master based on nature of expenses.

Interact with external consultants for tax opinions

Qualification and experience

A Bachelor's / Master's degree in commerce, accounting, taxation or a related field and CA Inter - completed

Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax management, preferably in a reputed NGO or corporate environment.

Strong understanding of accounting and experience in managing direct and indirect taxes.

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.

Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.

Good communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
