Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled College Admission Essay Tutor to assist students in crafting compelling and effective essays for admission to international colleges and universities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in academic writing, college admissions, and personalized coaching.

Responsibilities:

  • Guide students through the brainstorming, drafting, and editing process for college admission essays.
  • Help students develop authentic and engaging personal statements and supplemental essays tailored to specific international universities.
  • Provide constructive feedback to improve clarity, structure, tone, and grammar.
  • Ensure essays align with the expectations of international admission committees (e.g., US, UK, Canada, Europe, etc.).
  • Offer strategic advice on how to present a cohesive and compelling narrative.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in tutoring or mentoring students for college admission essays.
  • Strong understanding of international college admission requirements and essay expectations.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work with students from diverse backgrounds.
  • A degree in English, Education, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
  • Familiarity with application platforms (e.g., Common App, UCAS, etc.) is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Former college admissions counselor or experience working in a university admissions office.
  • Experience with students applying to Ivy League or top-tier international universities.
  • Multilingual or international education experience is a bonus.
