Job description

Responsibilities

  • Network Infrastructure Management
  • Configure, manage, and monitor Cisco Meraki devices including APs, switches, and firewalls.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot FortiGate firewalls hosted in AWS and on-premises.
  • Manage and optimize Radware hardware load balancers for high availability and load distribution.
  • Perform capacity planning, network health checks, and performance tuning.
  • Cloud Networking (AWS)
  • Design and manage AWS VPCs, subnets, route tables, Internet Gateways, NAT Gateways, Security Groups, and Network ACLs.
  • Support secure hybrid connectivity using VPN/Direct Connect and ensure seamless cloud-to-on-premises integration.
  • Implement and maintain cloud firewall rules and routing policies.
  • On-Premises Networking Support
  • Manage and maintain on-premise network infrastructure including switches, firewalls, patch panels, structured cabling, etc.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot Internet Leased Line (ILL) links and coordinate with ISPs for uptime and service quality.
  • Perform network documentation, inventory management, and compliance tracking.
  • Operational Support & Vendor Coordination
  • Handle L2/L3 support tickets related to networking, connectivity, and performance issues.
  • Coordinate with external vendors, OEMs, and service providers for procurement, support escalations, and AMC renewals.
  • Maintain vendor SLAs and ensure timely resolution of complaints and incidents.
  • Monitoring & Security
  • Utilize network monitoring tools such as Site 24x7 for proactive monitoring.
  • Implement network security best practices and assist in incident response and forensic investigations.
  • Conduct regular backups of network configurations
  • Hands-on experience with:
  • Cisco Meraki – APs, switches, security appliances.
  • FortiGate firewalls (AWS).
  • Radware load balancers.
  • AWS networking – VPC, Security Groups, Transit Gateways, VPNs.
  • Good understanding of IP addressing, VLANs, NAT, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), and firewall rules.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills in a multi-vendor environment.
  • Experience with ticketing systems, change management, and documentation tools.
  • Strong communication skills and experience in handling vendors and external stakeholders.
