Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and results-driven
Upwork Bidder & Closer

to join our Business Development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating leads, writing persuasive proposals on freelancing platforms like Upwork, and closing deals with potential clients. This role requires strong communication skills, a good understanding of digital/IT services, and the ability to manage the full sales cycle from bidding to closing.

Key responsibility:

  • Identify suitable projects and clients on Upwork and similar freelancing platforms.
  • Communicate with potential clients through discovery calls to understand project scope, timeline, and budget.
  • Write customized and compelling proposals based on client requirements.
  • Present company services effectively and negotiate project terms, timelines, and budgets.
  • Collaborate with the bidding and delivery teams for seamless project handover.
  • Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales closing targets.
  • Close deals by converting qualified leads into confirmed projects.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (design, development, marketing) to prepare accurate cost estimates.
  • Maintain records of bids, client communications, and deal closures.
  • Stay updated with market trends and client requirements on Upwork.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business.
  • Report daily/weekly progress and maintain CRM records.
  • Build long-term relationships with clients for repeat business and referrals.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 1 year of experience as an Upwork Bidder and closer.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English proficiency required).
  • Strong proposal-writing, client negotiation, and deal-closing skills.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing, web/app development, or IT services.
  • Ability to multitask and handle multiple client conversations simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Self-motivated, target-oriented, and able to work independently.
