Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Sr. Executive Accounts / Assistant Manager - Accounts based in Chennai. The responsibilities include managing day-to-day finance and accounting operations, preparing financial statements and reports, reconciling accounts, auditing records, and ensuring tax compliance. The role requires overseeing budgeting, cost monitoring, maintaining accurate financial data, and supporting internal and external audits effectively.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Accounting, Financial Reporting, and Budgeting
  • Proficiency in Tally, Advanced MS Excel, and other accounting software
  • Taxation knowledge, including GST and TDS compliance
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to accuracy and detail
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively and communicate financial insights to teams
  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance; a relevant master's degree or professional certification (CA/ICWA/CFA) is a plus
  • Prior experience in an accounts department handling similar responsibilities is highly desirable
