Manager - Sales - Auto Components

We are seeking an experienced Manager - Sales - Auto Components to lead our sales team in the location near Chennai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales operations, with expertise in sales strategy, sales effectiveness, and stakeholder management. The role requires a deep understanding of the auto component industry, with experience working with OEMs and managing customer relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement sales campaigns to drive business growth and increase market share
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and develop strategies to optimize sales effectiveness
  • Lead cross-functional teams to achieve sales targets and improve customer satisfaction
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including OEMs and customers
  • Manage order flow and ensure timely delivery of auto components
  • Collaborate with the sales teams to develop and execute sales strategies
  • Monitor and report on sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and opportunities for growth
  • Provide input on sales planning and budgeting to ensure alignment with business objectives

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in sales experience in heavy machining, auto component, Casting & Forging machining, Manufacturing, Machine shops
  • Proven track record of success in sales leadership, with a strong understanding of sales analytics and campaign design
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key customers and stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret sales data and develop strategies to improve sales effectiveness
  • Experience working with OEMs and managing customer relationships
  • Knowledge of Bom (Bill of Materials) and Costing
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with other departments to achieve business objectives
