About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst with strong expertise in Investment Performance to join our Investments Technology team. The role involves analyzing and mapping investment data, supporting performance calculation and reporting applications, and ensuring high standards of data quality and accuracy in collaboration with engineering and operations teams.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Review investment data, analyze and identify data gaps, and create detailed data mapping documents.
- Support and enhance Investment Performance Calculation and Reporting Applications within Nuveen.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to perform data quality checks and validations.
- Gather and document business and functional requirements for investment performance initiatives.
- Provide analytical insights and resolve issues related to performance reporting and data consistency.
Mandatory Skills & Qualifications
- 5–7 years of experience working with Asset Management firms.
- 3–5 years of experience in investment performance calculation and reporting projects.
- Strong hands-on SQL skills, with the ability to write complex queries on large data sets.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting capabilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematical Finance, Accounting, Math, or related technical discipline from an accredited university.
