About the Role
We are looking for highly driven
Country Managers
to lead pharmaceutical business operations across key West African markets. The ideal candidate will bring strong
B2C sales experience
in the pharmaceutical sector, a track record of delivering results, and a deep understanding of the
ROW (Rest of World) market dynamics
, particularly within Africa.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales growth and expand market share across
assigned West African countries
. - Develop and execute
country-specific business strategies
aligned with organizational objectives. - Build and sustain strong relationships with
distributors, pharmacies, regulatory bodies, and healthcare professionals
. - Monitor
market trends, competition, and customer needs
to identify growth opportunities. - Ensure
regulatory compliance
and adherence to company standards. - Collaborate with
cross-functional teams
including supply chain, marketing, and regulatory affairs. - Manage
budgets, sales targets, and profitability goals
effectively.
Key Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of B2C sales experience
in the pharmaceutical industry. - Knowledge of
pharmaceutical product registration & compliance
in international markets. - Strong
leadership, communication, and negotiation
skills. - Ability to manage operations across
multiple countries independently
. - Willingness to travel frequently
within West Africa. - Fluency in French
will be a strong advantage. - Prior experience managing operations in
African markets
is highly desirable.
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in
Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Business, or related field
. - MBA in Sales/Marketing
preferred. - French language skills will be an added advantage.
