About the Role

We are looking for a GTM & Automation Engineer who can bridge marketing, analytics, and technology. You'll be responsible for implementing tracking systems, automating marketing workflows, ensuring accurate data flow between platforms, and helping the team make data-driven decisions through smart automation.

This role requires a mix of technical proficiency, problem-solving skills, and a solid understanding of digital marketing tools and data infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

Tag Management & Tracking:

  • Implement and manage Google Tag Manager (GTM) containers and data layers across websites and landing pages.
  • Set up tags, triggers, and variables for marketing and analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, etc.).
  • Debug and validate all tracking implementations to ensure accurate data capture.

Automation & Integrations:

  • Build and maintain marketing automations using tools like Zapier, Make (Integromat), or custom scripts.
  • Automate data sync between CRMs, ad platforms, and reporting dashboards.
  • Identify repetitive tasks across marketing and sales funnels and automate them for efficiency.

Analytics & Reporting:

  • Collaborate with marketing teams to define measurable goals and KPIs.
  • Set up conversion tracking and custom events for campaigns.
  • Support building real-time dashboards for performance monitoring.

Technical Collaboration:

  • Work closely with developers and marketers to ensure seamless tracking implementations.
  • Provide technical support for A/B testing and experimentation setups.
  • Stay updated on the latest tracking, analytics, and automation technologies.

Skills & Qualifications:

Required:

Strong knowledge of Google Tag Manager (GTM), Google Analytics (GA4), and conversion tracking.

Hands-on experience with Zapier, Make, or similar automation tools.

Familiarity with HTML, JavaScript, and dataLayer structures.

Experience integrating with APIs or webhooks for automation workflows.

Analytical mindset with attention to data accuracy.

Preferred:

Experience with CRM tools (HubSpot, Pipedrive, Zoho, etc.).

Understanding of UTM parameters, cookies, and attribution models.

Prior work in a performance marketing or growth tech environment.

Basic knowledge of SQL or BigQuery is a plus.
