Job Purpose - As a part of Maintenance–MMC Team, Responsible for custody of all cylinders and Heavy  Equipment . Carrying out all material issue, binning, storage, preservation, physical stock discrepancy resolution, all field activities, manpower and equipment handling.

Material Issue & Binning

• Responsible for carrying out timely issue & binning of all cylinders and heavy equipment

• Verification of all PESO gas cylinder-related compliances for incoming cylinders

• Posting all SAP MM & WMS transactions related to issue and binning

• Execute all put-away & pick-up processes and TO confirmation

• Timely reconciliation of perpetual inventory-related stock discrepancies

Storage & Preservation

• Store items with proper tagging, batch number-wise after preservation

• Conduct regular reviews of material storage conditions

• Complete general preservation activities as per schedule

• Ensure special preservation of all heavy equipment is completed by maintenance department on time

• Maintain log sheets for material handling equipment and manpower

• Verify monthly bills related to manpower and equipment

Legal Compliances for Storage

• Track hydro test and gas expiry dates of gas cylinders

• Label and mark cylinders as per Gas Cylinder Rules 2016

• Maintain stock norms as per PESO storage license

• Reconcile vendor-owned cylinders on a regular basis

System Automation

• Explore automation possibilities for manual processes

HSEF & Housekeeping

• Maintain HSEF compliances across all activities

• Ensure zero deviation in HSEF practices

• Maintain good housekeeping in receipt areas as per 5S standards

• Provide regular safety instructions to field supervisors and workmen

Coordination with Internal and External Stakeholders

• Coordinate with internal departments, external vendors, and service providers

 Audit and Compliances

• Ensure full compliance with IMS system

• Implement legal compliances including stamping of lifting/handling tools and weighbridge

• Fulfil all financial, IFSC, and external audit recommendations

Teamwork and Management

• Work collaboratively with contractual workmen and supervisors

OHSMS – HSEF Care & Welfare

• Achieve a safe and healthy workplace

• Authority to stop unsafe jobs

• Review safety audit observations and initiate corrective actions

• Implement plant changes based on audit reports, incident reports, and root cause analysis

• Monitor compliance with safety controls

• Enhance HSEQ performance

• Ensure timely fulfilment of legal obligations

 Environment Management System

• Implement and improve EMS systems, procedures, and policies

• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental systems during all activities

• Promote awareness of environment management in refinery operations

• Implement hazardous and non-hazardous waste management procedures

EnMS 50001:2018 – Energy Management System

• Awareness of Energy Policy – ISO 50001:2018

• Understand significant energy uses

• Implement energy objectives and Energy Management System

• Monitor and control EnPIs, variables, baseline, objectives/targets, and energy performance

Educational Qualifications

• B.E. (Mechanical/Chemical) with 2—4 years of experience

OR

• Diploma (Mechanical /(Chemical) with 4-6 years of experience

Experience

• Minimum 2- 3 years of experience in handling, gas cylinders,  and related legal compliances  and Heavy   Equipment.

• Experience in material issue, custody, preservation, cycle count, and material handling

• Enriched knowledge of SAP – MM & WMS transactions

Functional Skills

• Working knowledge of warehouse transactions related to material issue, custody, storage, binning, preservation, and    cycle count

• Hands-on experience with SAP – MM & WMS transactions

• Exposure to manpower and equipment handling

• Knowledge of material preservation and upkeep

• Strong inventory management and monitoring capabilities

• Strong verbal, written, and analytical communication skills

• Good interpersonal and intrapersonal skills

• Effective coordination with all related stakeholders
