Role & responsibilities

Repair & Overhauling Support:

  • Carry out repair and overhauling of distribution and power transformers under supervision.
  • Assist in disassembly, inspection, repair, and replacement of transformer components such as windings, bushings, and insulation.
  • Support root cause analysis activities by providing accurate inspection findings.

Maintenance & Monitoring:

  • Execute preventive and corrective maintenance tasks as per schedule.
  • Monitor transformer performance and report abnormalities.
  • Follow safety standards and operational guidelines strictly during all activities.

Testing & Quality Assurance:

  • Perform transformer testing such as insulation resistance, winding resistance, and ratio tests.
  • Assist in high-voltage and load tests under engineer supervision.
  • Ensure quality of work meets industry and company standards.

Team & Project Support:

  • Work closely with senior engineers and site supervisors for smooth execution.
  • Provide accurate job progress updates and maintain service records.
  • Support logistics, tools, and material handling for site work.

Compliance & Safety:

  • Adhere to safety procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Follow company policies for health, safety, and environment (HSE).
  • Maintain discipline and professionalism on-site.

Preferred candidate profile

Experience: Minimum of 1 years in Transformer repair, Overhauling and Maintenance

Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of transformer diagnostic, testing and maintenance.
  • Strong leadership and project management capabilities.
  • Familiarity with international standards such as IEC and ANSI
