Job Title: Vendor Development Trainee / Vendor Follow-up Executive

Location: Bhosari, Pune, Maharashtra

Job Summary:

We are hiring a fresher for the role of Vendor Development Trainee, primarily responsible for visiting vendors, following up on job orders, and ensuring that outsourced work is completed and delivered on time. This is a field-oriented role that requires strong coordination skills, discipline, and a hands-on approach to vendor management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Visit vendors (fabrication, machining, painting, assembly, etc.) regularly to monitor work progress
  • Ensure that manufacturing and job work are proceeding as per schedule and quality standards
  • Coordinate with internal departments (Production, Design, Purchase) for clear instructions to vendors
  • Follow up on pending work, resolve on-ground issues, and escalate delays when necessary
  • Assist in arranging required materials or drawings for the vendor to avoid downtime
  • Ensure that jobs are completed and dispatched from the vendor location as per timeline
  • Maintain basic visit records, follow-up sheets, and vendor feedback reports

Candidate Profile:

  • Education: Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
  • Experience: 0–1 year (Fresher Welcome)
  • Must-Have Skills:
  • Willingness to travel frequently to local vendor sites
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing processes like fabrication, machining, etc.
  • Good coordination and communication skills
  • Punctuality, discipline, and a result-oriented mindset
  • Ability to read simple engineering drawings (or willingness to learn)

  • Location of Work: Field visits + office coordination
  • Travel: Local travel required (conveyance reimbursement provided)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 per month
