We are looking for a passionate and sharp Ground Reporter who can actively cover stories, issues, and events happening in Okhla and Jamia Nagar societies. The ideal candidate must be local to the area, have a strong understanding of its culture and community, and be confident in engaging with the public.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct on-ground reporting in Okhla, Jamia Nagar, and surrounding areas.
  • Identify and cover local issues, community stories, cultural events, and social developments.
  • Interview residents, shopkeepers, students, and local leaders with confidence and clarity.
  • Ask bold and smart questions that bring out real insights from the community.
  • Create engaging video, audio, or written reports for digital and print media.
  • Build strong local connections and maintain credibility within the community.
  • Stay updated on current affairs, local politics, and social trends in the area.

Requirements:

  • Must be from Okhla/Jamia Nagar or have deep familiarity with the locality.
  • Excellent communication skills in Hindi, Urdu, and/or English.
  • Strong ability to ask sharp, thought-provoking questions.
  • Confident, presentable, and comfortable speaking on camera.
  • Previous experience in reporting, journalism, or content creation is preferred (freshers with passion are welcome).
  • Tech-savvy with basic knowledge of using a smartphone, camera, and social media for reporting.
