Job Purpose:

The individual will lead the investigation, strategy, and launch of next-generation electrical/electronics systems and components for vehicle applications. This role is crucial for advancing our connected vehicle platforms and ensuring a seamless end-to-end user experience. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a strong technical background and a proven ability to collaborate across multiple disciplines.

Reports to: Team Manager - Product Strategy

Function: EV Commercial

What you'll do:

Investigate

  • Led the investigation, customer requirements setting and identifying potential POC partners for electrical/electronics systems and components for vehicle applications, advanced features and vehicle connectivity.
  • Conduct research and feasibility studies to explore new technologies, materials, and methodologies for improving vehicle range, energy efficiency, and charging infrastructure compatibility.
  • Stay updated on emerging trends, developments, and best practices in connected vehicle space.
  • Utilize analytics tools to assess Customer, Data, and Market trends.

Align

  • Conduct Program & Strategy meetings to collect digital requirements for new programs.
  • Collaborate with multiple teams, including Program, Product Strategy (PS), Product Development (PD), and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with design, engineering, and manufacturing teams to translate conceptual ideas into practical solutions that can seamlessly integrate into our connected platforms.
  • Identify opportunities to integrate new features from existing systems and frame requirements accordingly.

Trade-Off Analysis / Program Approval

  • Engage with all stakeholders to discuss the feasibility and impact of proposed features. Requirement Engineering:
  • Ensure the best trade-off and customer experience during the end-to-end system journey and end-to-end user journey based on gathered requirements.
  • Champion the customer requirements when working with product leads, such as Data & Analytics (D&A) and Product Development (PD), to detail requirements.

Launch

  • Ensure input from the Service, Sales, and Marketing teams for final execution.

Requirement Gathering:

  • Lead discussions and sign-off sessions with all stakeholders to finalize and groom the requirements.
  • Own the consumer facing technical messaging at launch and support the Branding, service, sales and marketing team to create collateral needed.

What you'll bring:

Experience:
7 to 10 years' experience in EV Connected Vehicle - Product Strategy department.

Qualification:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field.
