Job Summary:

We are looking for a Chinese Language Expert fluent in Mandarin (Cantonese is an added advantage), with a strong command of English and Hindi translation, to support our ongoing industrial projects. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in working with Chinese-speaking professionals, especially during machinery installation and industrial project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a language interpreter and translator between Chinese-speaking technicians/engineers and Indian teams during industrial machinery installations.
  • Translate technical documents, manuals, and communications accurately from Mandarin/Cantonese to English/Hindi and vice versa.
  • Assist project teams in coordination and communication with Chinese counterparts to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Be physically present at project sites in Kashipur and Pataudi as per work requirements.
  • Support in meetings, conferences, and factory floor discussions by providing real-time translation.
  • Help in building cross-cultural communication bridges and resolving misunderstandings due to language or cultural barriers.
  • Prepare reports, updates, and documentation as required for internal communication.

Key Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Mandarin (Reading, Writing, Speaking) is mandatory.
  • Cantonese knowledge will be an added advantage.
  • Excellent command over English and Hindi, both written and spoken.
  • Minimum 23 years of experience in industrial project environments, preferably involving machinery installation and commissioning.
  • Prior experience working with Chinese-speaking nationals in an industrial or manufacturing setup is essential.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, cultural sensitivity, and a proactive approach to troubleshooting language-related gaps.

Educational Qualification:

  • Graduate in Chinese Language or relevant certification in Mandarin/Translation Studies.
  • Technical background or familiarity with industrial terms will be beneficial.

Note: This is a full-time on-site role. Candidates must be willing to travel between Kashipur and Pataudi project sites as required.
