Role Overview

ProAnalyst is seeking a motivated
Junior BI & AI Solutions Engineer
to join our team. In this hybrid role, you will be a key contributor to our client projects, with a focus on
Business Intelligence (approx. 70% of the role)
and an introduction to
Artificial Intelligence (approx. 30% of the role)
. This is an excellent opportunity for a budding professional to gain hands-on experience in two of the most critical fields in the data industry, working directly with the founder on strategic and high-impact projects.

Key Responsibilities

Business Intelligence (BI) Focus (70%):

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize dashboards and reports using a variety of BI platforms like
    Tableau, Power BI, or Looker
    .
  • Write efficient
    SQL queries
    to extract, transform, and load data from various sources (e.g., BigQuery, Azure SQL) to support reporting requirements.
  • Collaborate with clients to gather and define data visualization requirements.
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency across all reporting functions.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) Focus (30%):

  • Assist in the development and deployment of AI-powered solutions, including
    LLM-based chatbots and AI agents
    .
  • Support data preparation and cleaning for machine learning models.
  • Contribute to the testing and documentation of AI solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 months experience (Internship or job experience or self-portfolio creation) working on projects
  • Python:
    Foundational knowledge and experience with Python for data manipulation and scripting.
  • SQL:
    Strong proficiency in SQL for querying and data transformation.
  • Data Visualization:
    Experience with at least one data visualization tool (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
  • A plus:
    Any prior experience with
    Generative AI
    or
    AI Agents
    , even from personal projects or academic work, is a definite advantage.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced startup environment.
