About the Role :

We are seeking a Senior Power BI Developer to join our dynamic analytics team in Bangalore. In this role, youll design and deliver high-impact BI solutions that drive strategic decision-making across the organization. You will work closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, and analysts to transform data into actionable insights through intuitive dashboards and visualizations.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and data models using Power BI.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable BI solutions.

- Optimize Power BI reports and datasets for performance, scalability, and usability.

- Integrate Power BI with Databricks SQL Warehouse, SQL Server, Excel, SharePoint, and other cloud data sources.

- Implement row-level security (RLS) and ensure adherence to data governance and compliance standards.

- Conduct data analysis to uncover insights, trends, and opportunities that inform business strategy.

- Leverage strong DAX and Power Query (M) skills to build efficient data models and complex calculations.

- Work with Power BI Service for workspace management, report deployment, and automated data refresh pipelines.

- Mentor and support junior BI developers, fostering best practices in BI design and development.

- Stay current with new Power BI features, tools, and BI industry trends to continuously enhance solution quality.

Qualifications & Skills :

- 8 years of experience in Business Intelligence development, with at least 35 years focused on Power BI.

- Advanced proficiency in DAX, Power Query (M), and data modeling techniques.

- Strong experience with SQL and relational databases (SQL Server, Databricks, etc.).

- Hands-on experience with Power BI Service, including workspace management and deployment pipelines.

- Solid understanding of data warehousing, ETL processes, and data visualization best practices.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.

- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with experience working with cross-functional teams.

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.

- Masters degree is a plus.
