We are looking for a talented Backend Engineer with strong expertise in and MySQL to join our growing team at Atulsia Technologies. In this role, you will be responsible for building scalable backend systems, writing optimized SQL queries, managing databases, and ensuring smooth API integrations for enterprise-grade applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust backend applications using
• Create and optimize complex SQL queries, joins, indexing, and stored procedures in MySQL
• Build and manage secure, scalable, and high-performance REST APIs
• Design efficient database schemas to support application logic and business requirements
• Collaborate with frontend developers, designers, and product managers for seamless integration
• Implement authentication, authorization, and other backend services
• Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and debugging
• Maintain high standards for code quality, documentation, and performance
• Monitor application performance and troubleshoot production issues

Must-Have Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with and frameworks like
• Deep knowledge of MySQL, including complex query writing, performance tuning, and database normalization
• Experience in RESTful API development and integration
• Solid understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), asynchronous programming, and error handling
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git
• Experience with Postman, SQL clients, and database management tools

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Knowledge of ORMs like Sequelize or (and also raw SQL when required)
• Exposure to Docker, Redis, or cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, etc.)
• Experience with unit testing (Mocha, Jest, etc.)
• Familiarity with GraphQL, WebSockets, or real-time data handling
• Understanding of backend security best practices
