We're looking for an experienced Senior Backend Developer to join our fast-growing engineering team at ReelSaga. In this role, you'll architect and scale core backend services that power our short-drama entertainment platform. You'll work closely with product, design, and frontend teams to build reliable, high-performance systems that reach millions of users.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems using .
  • Deploy and manage cloud infrastructure using AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, S3 EC2 CloudWatch, etc. ).
  • Create robust, maintainable, and secure APIs.
  • Integrate third-party services as needed for payment, analytics, and user engagement.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to develop and ship end-to-end product features.
  • Write clean, testable code and ensure strong documentation standards.
  • Monitor system performance, resolve production issues, and ensure platform reliability.
  • Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and contribute to architectural decisions.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of backend development experience in .
  • Strong grasp of JavaScript/TypeScript and asynchronous programming.
  • Deep familiarity with AWS services like Lambda, DynamoDB, S3 EC2 and API Gateway.
  • Experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases (e. g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB).
  • Exposure to Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong ownership mindset.
