About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated, data-driven, and experienced Senior SEO Executive to spearhead our Search Engine Optimization efforts in the Ahmedabad office. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing and executing successful, data-backed SEO strategies that significantly increase organic search visibility, traffic, and conversions. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of SEO, from in-depth analysis to technical implementation.

Key Responsibilities

1. Keyword Research and Analysis

2. Conduct in-depth keyword research to discover high-value, high-intent keywords and target phrases, aligning with the company's business goals and content strategy.

3. Perform search intent analysis for target keywords to guide content and page structure.

4. Map keywords to existing and new pages to ensure comprehensive coverage and optimal ranking potential.

5. On-Page SEO

6. Lead the optimization of all on-page elements, including Title Tags, Meta Descriptions, H1-H6 headers, image alt text, and URL structures.

7. Work closely with the Content team to ensure new and existing content is fully optimized, incorporating target keywords naturally and adhering to E-E-A-T principles.

8. Implement and manage internal linking strategies to improve site architecture and link equity flow.

9. Technical SEO

10. Conduct regular, comprehensive Technical SEO audits (using tools like Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, etc.) to identify and resolve issues related to crawlability, indexability, and site health.

11. Monitor and improve core website performance metrics, including Page Speed (Core Web Vitals).

13. Manage and optimize XML Sitemaps, , canonicalization, and Hreflang tags (where applicable).

14. Implement and validate structured data (Schema Markup) to enable rich snippets.

15. Link Building (Off-Page SEO)

16. Develop and execute a strategic link building roadmap to acquire high-quality, relevant backlinks from authoritative domains.

17. Conduct backlink profile analysis and regular audits to identify and disavow spammy or toxic links.

18. Support digital PR and content outreach campaigns to drive link acquisition.

19. SEO Analysis and Reporting

20. Monitor and track key SEO performance indicators (KPIs) using tools like Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Search Console, Ahrefs, and SEMrush.

21. Prepare detailed weekly and monthly reports on organic traffic, keyword rankings, conversion rate from organic channels, and overall ROI of SEO efforts.

22. Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights and recommendations for stakeholders.

23. Competitor Analysis

24. Perform deep-dive analysis of competitors' SEO strategies, including keyword targeting, content gaps, link profiles, and technical setup.

25. Identify opportunities to surpass competitors and dominate search engine results pages (SERPs).

26. Content Optimization

27. Provide detailed SEO briefs and guidelines to content writers for new article and landing page creation.

28. Review and optimize existing low-performing content to boost its rankings and traffic.

29. Advise on overall content strategy, including topic cluster and pillar content development.

30. SEO Updates and Trends

31. Stay up-to-date with the latest Google algorithm updates, search engine trends, and industry best practices.

32. Proactively recommend and implement strategic adjustments to maintain and improve search performance.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for Success

• Organic Traffic Growth: Year-over-Year and Month-over-Month increase in organic sessions.
• Keyword Rankings: Improvement in average keyword ranking position, particularly for high-value terms.
• Organic Conversions/Leads: Increase in goal completions or revenue attributed to organic search.
• Domain Authority/Rating: Continuous improvement in website authority score.
• Technical SEO Score: Maintaining a low percentage of critical crawl errors, high Core Web Vitals scores, and optimal index coverage.

Qualifications and Skills

• Experience: 2-5 years of hands-on experience in a dedicated SEO role, preferably for a mid-to-large-scale website.
• Tools Proficiency: Expertise in using industry-standard SEO tools (e.g., Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, Screaming Frog), and web analytics platforms (GA4, Google Search Console).
• Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as they relate to SEO. Experience with content management systems (CMS) like WordPress or similar.
• Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate technical SEO concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
