JOB TITLE: SENIOR QS ENGINEER CIVIL

Key Responsibilities

Quantity Surveying
: Prepare and manage Bill of Quantities (BOQ), estimate costs, and conduct rate analysis for construction projects.

Billing and Invoicing:
Prepare RA bills, vendor bills, and ensure timely payment certification.

Tendering:
Assist in preparing tender documents, floating tenders, and evaluating bids.

Costing and Budgeting:
Manage project budgets, track costs, and identify areas for cost optimization.

Contract Management
: Review and manage contracts, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.

Reconciliation
: Prepare reconciliation statements for materials, contractors, and vendors.

Requirements

Education
: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.

Experience:
Minimum 8-10 years of experience in quantity surveying, billing, and contract management.

Skills:

- Analytical and Problem-Solving:
Strong analytical skills to manage costs and budgets.

Communication:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Technical:
Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and billing software.

- Knowledge
: Familiarity with construction contracts, cost control, and procurement processes.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Prepare and manage project budgets, estimates, and cash flow forecasts.

  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor project progress and quality.

  • Evaluate and approve contractor invoices and payment certificates.

  • Coordinate with project managers and stakeholders to ensure cost-effective and timely completion of projects.
