Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor and Billing Engineer

Reports to: MD / PROJECTS HEAD

Location: BANGALORE

Job Summary:

We're seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor and Billing Engineer to lead quantity surveying and billing activities on construction projects. You'll manage and control construction costs, prepare and verify bills of quantities, manage client and vendor billing, and ensure compliance with contract requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Senior Quantity Surveyor:

1. Quantity Surveying: Manage and control construction costs, including preparing and verifying bills of quantities.

2. Cost Management: Provide cost advice to project teams, identifying potential cost savings and risks.

3. BOQ Preparation: Prepare and verify bills of quantities for tendering and contract purposes.

4. Contract Administration: Administer contracts, including managing variations, claims, and final accounts.

Billing Engineer:

1. Client Billing: Prepare and manage client invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contract requirements.

2. Vendor Billing: Manage vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contract requirements.

3. RA Billing: Prepare and manage RA (Running Account) bills, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contract requirements.

4. Reconciliation: Reconcile client and vendor accounts, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies.

Requirements:

  1. Qualifications: Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.

  2. Experience: 9+ years of experience in quantity surveying and billing engineering, preferably in construction projects.

  3. Skills: Strong knowledge of construction costs, contract administration, billing procedures, and financial management principles.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Certifications: Certifications, such as QS or billing certifications, are desirable.

  2. Experience with Construction Software: Experience with construction software, such as Primavera P6 or similar, is highly valued.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹52, ₹64,215.93 per month
