About the role - you will:
  • Support the PR team in building Seagate's brand visibility in India and IMETA (India, Middle East Turkey Africa) region. Your focus will be on India
  • Assist with media relations, help prepare communication materials, and learn how technology stories are shared with the public
  • Assist in preparing press releases, pitches, and media kits
  • Help monitor media coverage and compile reports for the PR team
  • Support the organization of media events, press conferences, and other PR activities
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure messaging is consistent
  • Conduct research on industry trends and media outlets in India
  • Help maintain databases of media contacts and coverage
  • Shadow and support executive spokespersons during media interactions
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for positive media coverage
About you:
  • Strong interest in media relations and technology
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness to learn and take initiative
  • Ability to work in a team and follow instructions
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail
Your experience includes:
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
  • Multilingual abilities (English and Middle Eastern languages/dialects) are a plus
