Job Purpose:

The Senior Accountant is responsible for overseeing the full accounting cycle, ensuring accurate financial reporting, statutory compliance, and supporting management in financial decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise daily accounting operations and team activities.
• Prepare final accounts, balance sheet, P&L statements, and financial reports.
• Review and monitor accounts payable, receivable, and ledger reconciliations.
• File GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESI, and other statutory returns accurately and on time.
• Prepare monthly MIS reports and financial analysis for management review.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors and provide required documentation.
• Handle budgeting, forecasting, and fund flow/cash flow management.
• Manage bank reconciliation, vendor reconciliation, and customer reconciliation.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company financial policies.
• Support management in cost control, planning, and process improvement.
• Handle confidential financial information with integrity and accuracy.
• Any additional responsibilities assigned by management.

Skills Required:

• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation & compliance.
• Proficiency in Tally ERP, MS Excel (advanced), and accounting software.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to lead and supervise the accounting team.
• Excellent communication, coordination & time-management skills.
• High attention to detail & accuracy.
